COSTS
-One 20kg bag of dog food called 'Chappi' costs us Rs.2150 or $29
-One Litre of milk costs Rs.39 or 50 cents
-One earthen bowl with a capacity of 5L costs Rs.250 or $3.50
-Tick/Flea treatment for One dog for a month costs Rs.300 or $4
-One dog's deworming and vaccinations costs Rs.2000 or $27
-Spay or Neuter for One dog costs Rs.1500 or $20
-One jute bed or One dog winter jacket costs Rs.200 or $3
YOUR contributions go into:
-buying 130 pounds (60kgs) of dog food every two weeks for every one of our 80+ streeties,
-buying more than 120 Litres of milk (given diluted,3 times a week) every 2 weeks to ensure strays are hydrated,
-placing earthen bowls for food and water (successfully placed over 60 bowls with a capacity or either 5Litres of 2Litres),
-refilling more than 70 Litres of Water every single day,
-monthly tick and flea treatments,
-disposable gloves & masks,
-arranging emergency private animal ambulances,
-visiting vets and doing treatments for injured and sick dogs,
-spaying/neutering them to reduce street population (I've gotten more than 40 stray dogs spayed/neutered till now),
-helping puppies get adopted and find their forever homes (I've gotten more than 15 dogs and cats adopted till now),
-deworming & vaccinating stray dogs against rabies and other common diseases like ParvoVirus or Distemper (I've successfully vaccinated more than 70 strays till now),
-buying winter essentials like beds and dog jackets;
