Vaccinate for NO RABIES

Rabies still as of today, remains one of the most dangerous public health problems in the world. There is no cure. It is transmissible from dog to humans and can potentially cause fatalities. The disease causes progressive inflammation of the brain caused by viruses in the genus Lyssavirus. The health of domestic animals is an ongoing concern for many families. The safety of family members is believed to be directly related to proper vaccination of pets. The rabies vaccine is required by law with the intention of removing the deadly threat from both dogs and humans.

A dog exposed to rabid wildlife can easily return to the home carrying the rabies virus, putting humans at risk.  Research has initiated the observance of safe antibody levels in dogs of different ages, sizes, and breed.

Because rabies is such a serious disease, it’s important to have dogs vaccinated.  Vaccination in pets is widely considered a public health success, just as it has been with people. 59,000 people die of rabies globally each year. Diagnosis of Rabies is based on history of animal bite, clinical signs, biological tests and post-mortem examination of brain in the laboratory. Once the clinical signs start, there is no treatment for Rabies.

Preventive measures include timely vaccination for all pet animals against Rabies as per the veterinarian’s advice, prompt treatment for animal bite cases, stray animal population control and mass education.

The rabies injections are totally safe. Whether or not the dog that bit you had ever been immunized against rabies is irrelevant to what goes on in your body when you receive a series of injections for rabies protection. Vets and animal control people must have the kill-virus injections plus booster shots when needed. If rabies enters your system it gets carried all the way to your brain. At that point you develop symptoms and can infect other people, and at that point it is 99+% probability of your dying.
